Sir Walter Raleigh Inn has been serving the Washington Area since 1970. Our staff takes pride in serving delicious food at a reasonable price. We are conveniently located near College Park, MD, home of the University of Maryland Terrapins!

Our customer base includes local businesses and government offices such as NASA Goddard Space Center; University of Maryland staff, alumni, athletic squads & coaches; and charitable organizations such as College Park Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club of Prince George's County, and several delegations of The Lions Club

We still serve our award winning prime rib, custom cut steaks, fresh seafood and of course our famous Soup and Salad Bar - Home made soups, Caesar and garden salad, fresh fruit, and freshly baked breads.

We also now feature what we call the Big Boss Crab Cake. 10oz. of jumbo lump crab meat with very little filler!

We also have a 6 oz. version called the Jr. Boss.

Aside from our great food, we have two private rooms - one seats up to 65 and the other up to 40. We can also open up the back half of the restaurant for larger parties or use the entire restaurant on Saturdays and Sundays before or after our regular hours. Atmosphere & Service

We have a relaxed, peaceful and sophisticated atmosphere. Our atmosphere is a far cry from the usual clamorous, stereotyped, television-decorated, corporate-chain atmosphere.

Our servers are well experienced (no rookies), and adapt well to all sorts of clientele. Whether it be dinner alone, dinner with friends, family or co-workers, or a quick bite before the terps game, our servers will go at your pace and provide you with a pleasant dining experience.
